Laozao is a local snack, belonging to Sichuan cuisine. Laolao, a kind of wine brewing in ancient Chinese, is a Sichuan dialect, that is, boiled eggs with wine brewing. The fermented glutinous rice is clear in color, white in juice and sweet in concentration. It has the functions of Invigorating Qi, promoting blood circulation, activating collaterals, regulating meridians and moistening the lungs. In summer, it can also clear away heat and relieve summer heat. Mash and eggs can be cooked together.
In the countryside, when ordinary guests come to the house, the host will cook a few bowls of mash first, pick up the wind, fill the stomach and warm the heart.
